Sorry I haven’t been commenting. Taking care of kitty took a lot out of me. I was up with him every three to four hours night and day. I would feed and pee him. Love on him awhile I’d warm his blanket and wrap him and put him back to bed. I was drain from the ceiling calasp and the weeks of hurry up and wait. I had quit smoking July 8, 2005 and Aug 12,2006 I started like I never stopped. I could just kick my self. This month holds lots of memories for me and now yet a other with kitty’s death. I’m sad that summer is almost over. I do love the colors of fall but winter could just disappear lol . Thank you all for your caring hearts and loving words at this low time in my life. I know so many of you are having it harder than me I am blessed and God hasn’t ever left my side. Thank you again for being there for me. ALWAYS Tooty (Roberta)

Oh, Roberta, please promise me that you will stop wanting to kick yourself, ok? All trials are lessons, and faith builders. Just deepens our souls… You’re right, God never leaves our side. Sometimes, though, He can seem to be silent, often when we need Him the most. He wants us to recognize our weaknesses, but not punish ourselves. Remember that every weakness has a strength on the flip side. For example, stuborness can be a weakness, but it’s flip side is steadfastness.

Smoking is a hard habit to kick though I did manage to quit I still grab one now and then so in fact I still smoke mostly when upset. Don’t feel you have to kick yourself we all have some form of weakness we have to struggle with. I love fall when it first begins with all the pretty colors however doubt we will have many pretty colors this year unless we get a lot of rain it’s raining now but it will take a lot more to help us out. I love winter in December and snow for Christmas that’s about it and now that my son has to travel so far to come home Christmas I always pray that it doesn’t snow until he leaves and gets safely home then it can snow. I’m afraid we are in for a hard winter this year all the old folk signs are present and you can’t beat those old folk signs. Farmers lived by them many. many years ago. If we get a bad snow storm Christmas week my son can’t come home and that would make my heart sad but his safety is far more important. If that happens we will have Christmas at a later date. My favorite season is Spring I love spring when mother nature wakes after a long winter sleep and life pops up from the ground it’s so awesome. Sending love and Hugs

I understand your pain , Tooty . Yes this summer has not been so wonderful . A bit sad in August , here ,. It was always raining and in the fields the harvest has not been made yet ( wheat ). Farmers are desesperate .
