I want to tell you a story about a little girl and her family. She thought she was happy and she thought she was loved. But was she? She had heard stories of her mother's sisters and brothers; their mother passing away and how hard their life had been, how they didn't know how to love because they never knew love. As children, they were shipped from relative to relative to whoever would put a roof over their heads. They were eight, ten, and twelve. They had two younger sisters and two older sisters and three older brothers. The mother lived in Cleveland, Pittsburgh, and what they call Hoopie. What the mother could talk about was bad, but there were things so bad she couldn't talk about them, they were too painful.
One uncle drank way too much, and one aunt was never wrong, the mother was wary. One uncle was just right. He gave love and understanding, he play games with the little girl and her brother. He took them sledding and played hide and seek. He must have been so blessed because someone taught him how to love. It took his brother and sister years to learn but they did. As the little girl grew older, she realized the pain they all felt. She knew the uncle who drank was only hiding his hurts. The mother told her two children they had taught her love, long after they were grown.
I guess the moral of this story is whatever people do, whatever they say, however they act, LOOK LOOK DEEPER and give LOVE, UNDERSTANDING because I know the GREATEST IS (((LOVE )))
I hope those of you who can, will think of those who are less fortunate; the homeless, the lonely people out there, maybe someone you know who would be alone... ask them to spend this season at dinner or a get together. Make a blanket or a cap and scarf and give it to a homeless shelter, visit a child in the hospital or Children home, help pet shelters. Whatever you can do, you will be blessed. Reach out and show the love I know you all have. God be with you all now and ALWAYS .
I Pray you all have great joy, family, and good health this Holiday Season. Love and blessings from my family, to all my dear Xanga friends and family.
